We Won!!
It seems our streak is finally taking a turn! The Pee Wee's played a great game and stayed strong to pull out their first regular season win...
they played Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs and earned a 5-3 win. The Huskies were first on the board at 1.6 minutes in with a goal from Austin Hutcheson, perfectly set up by Colton Cook and Brady Becker. Another 6 minutes and Durham nets another by Cook assisted by Becker and Hutcheson...this line is on fire! The Ice Dogs answered back with their only goal of the first period by Sam Gutta unassisted; however, Durham ends the first with one more from Hutcheson assisted by Josh Jenkins to make it 3-1 heading into the 2nd.
The 2nd period was Ice Dogs answering back and evening the score, netting 2 to tie it up 3-3. Durham needed the break between periods and came back eager for the win in the 3rd. Cook made some stellar moves and secured 2 goals in the 3rd, the 1st assisted by Ryan Melenson and Hutcheson while the next was all Cookie. An excellent game to watch!! Way to go Huskies!!!
