
Atom reps pick up a pair of wins on the road
The Huskies traveled to Teeswater Friday night and skated to a 6-0 victory over the Otters. Clinton was the team's destination Saturday, which ended in a 6-5 action packed win for Durham.
The Durham Huskies traveled to Teeswater Friday night and skated to a 6-0 victory over the Otters. Noah Johnson and Bryden Ridgeway each scored two goals, with Alex Paylor netting a single. Kelsey Mighton also recorded her first of the season off a quick pass from Noah. Other assists went to Ty Heipel, Brenson White, Brayden Kaufman, Nolan Marshall and Ryan Monk. Lucas Ball earned the shut out.
Saturday the team traveled to Clinton to face the Bayfield, Clinton & Hensall Ice Dogs. Both teams played exceptional, however Durham came up with the well earned 6-5 win. Goals were scored by Alex Paylor, Jordan MacDonald, Noah Johnson with two and Brenson White also with a duce, including the game winner with under two minutes left in the third period. Durham's defensive squad includes Larsen Lorenz, Cole Spielmacher, Lucas Stone, Matthew Schenk, Ty Heipel and Ryan Monk. Another outstanding performance was given by Lucas Ball in net. Way to go Huskies !!
